Last week I had the honor and pleasure of being a bridesmaid in the wedding of my dear friends, Shylah and Guy. The wedding was held at the Pema Osel Ling Retreat Center and it was absolutely gorgeous. Since I was in the wedding, I only had the opportunity to take pictures during the few breaks that we got throughout the day. Hope you enjoy some of my favorite images that I was able to capture in the downtime.
How cute is Shylah’s getting ready dress?
Loved the flowers in her hair!!
Check out this amazing view from the deck of the house that we were staying at.
Her bouquet was so beautiful!
My fellow bridesmaids were absolutely stunning!!
I adored the reception area.
Guy’s groom cake was a cheesecake! Yum! And in lieu of a wedding cake, all the guests enjoyed a variety of delicious cupcakes.
Matt grabbed this great shot of Shylah and Guy looking amazing (even while getting food).
I couldn’t stop admiring our majestic surroundings. The redwood trees were so beautiful.
I loved their super romantic first dance.
Shylah’s father/daughter dance got fancy with some twirls:)
At every wedding that I’ve photographed, I’ve realized that my favorite part is the bouquet toss. I love how intense the girls get and I’ve seen some pretty awesome moves go down.
Me and the gorgeous bride! (Thank you Matt for this awesome picture of the two of us).
As much as I love shooting weddings, I love being a bridesmaid even more! I had so much fun dancing and laughing and I was so happy I was able to take a few days off to completely enjoy the whole experience with Shylah and her other bridesmaids. It rocked that I was able to capture some great images from my point as view as well:)
Congratulations Shylah and Guy!! Hope you are enjoying your honeymoon:)
